Some universities may require evidence of an English Language speaking and listening assessment as part of their entry requirements, particularly for those applying to study health science courses such as medicine. Cambridge IGCSE is a valued First Language English qualification for entry to Higher Education. For students sitting Cambridge IGCSE First Language English (0500 or 0990), we would strongly advise that they take the Speaking and Listening component.
For further information about entry requirements for a particular university or course, please check the university’s website or contact them directly.
