Are there specific topics for each component?

No, the syllabus revision means that the 22 list topics on page 12 of the syllabus can be taught and used for any of the three components.  We have expanded the list and by making all permittable for each component, have increased choice for students.  It is good practise to explore many of these to give student a developed and wide scope of ideas. There is no specific number of topics that a centre should explore with students.
