What evidence do I need to provide for the coursework component?

All centres must provide filmed evidence of performances in every physical activity in which they are submitting marks. Often candidates assessed in an activity can be filmed together and not individually. Of these candidates, an appropriate sample should be identified on the Order of Merit forms. These sample candidates should comply with the samples database requirements. 

If you have over five entries for the syllabus you need to send the evidence for five candidates for each physical activity offered where activity choice allows, spread evenly across the mark range. If you have fewer than five candidates for a particular activity, you should send evidence of all the candidates been assessed in the activity. You should also include any candidates with a total syllabus mark of 0 in the sample.
 
To clarify, for each activity in which you are awarding marks you need to provide evidence for five candidates where five or more people have been assessed. If you have activities where fewer than five candidates have been assessed, you will need to submit evidence for all of the candidates for that activity. Please use the Order of Merit form for each activity to help select candidates evenly spread across the mark range where possible.

For example,

If 20 candidates were entered for the syllabus and fifteen were assessed in Association Football. All fifteen candidates would need be listed on the Order of Merit in rank order of ability, with the highest scoring candidate first and boys and girls on separate lists (instructions on how to enter candidate information can be found on the form). A candidate identifier should be added to the Candidate Identification column for the sample candidates (these are the candidates that are having their filmed evidence submitted). In this scenario you would need to submit filmed evidence for five candidates in Association Football.

If 20 candidates were entered for the syllabus and four were assessed in cricket. All four candidates would need be listed on the Order of Merit as described above. All four candidates would need identification and all four would need evidence submitted.
