No, but a school has to be registered for Cambridge Primary to enter candidates for the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint test. Schools do not have to rigidly follow the curriculum frameworks. The tests can be used alongside any curriculum, whether subject or topic–based, provided the learning objectives are sufficiently close to those listed in the Cambridge Primary curriculum frameworks.
