The supervisor’s report is found at the end of the confidential instructions. A supervisor’s report is completed by the supervisor for each laboratory and session.
If any assistance is provided to candidates, this must be recorded in the supervisor’s report. Likewise, if any materials or apparatus need to be replaced, for example, in the event of breakages or loss, this must be recorded in the supervisor’s report. In addition, the supervisor’s report should clearly record any alternative chemicals or materials that have been agreed with us before the exam due to difficulty experienced procuring these chemicals or materials prior to the exam.
Finally, the supervisor will record their own results of the experiment using the same equipment, materials, and batch of chemicals as the candidates on the supervisor’s report.
