What does the Physical Development part of the curriculum cover?

The Physical Development part of the programme develops movement skills, e.g. running, jumping, balancing, object control e.g. throwing, catching

 

It focuses more on gross motor skills than fine motor skills because fine motor skills are also covered in other curriculum areas, e.g. pencil grip in Communication, Language and Literacy, getting dressed in Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
