Can a student take IGCSE English First Language if they have already taken the IGCSE English as a Second Language in a previous series?

Candidates cannot sit for IGCSE First Language English and IGCSE English as a Second Language in the same exam series. However, we do not have any restrictions if you wish to sit these exams in two separate series. Therefore, candidates may, if they wish, sit examinations in Cambridge IGCSE English - Second Language (0510 or 0511) followed by examinations in Cambridge IGCSE English - First Language (0500) in a subsequent exam series.
