Candidates may work independently on the film task if they wish and utilise others to help, but cannot be credited for any work they have not done themselves. It might therefore be more beneficial for the candidate to take on the filming responsibilities, as this technical skill is considered when marking, whereas performing is not. What must be made clear, in both the candidate’s blog and the Individual Candidate Record Card completed by the centre after marking, are the roles which the candidate took and those which were done by others. The names and roles of those who worked on the coursework must be made explicit, and the candidate cannot be rewarded for work they themselves have not completed.
