We do not publish a precise list of grammatical structures and vocabulary for IGCSE English as a Second Language.
The syllabus states that ‘Candidates achieving a grade C overall, with grade 2 in Speaking, in Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language 0510/0511 can be considered to be at a level equivalent to B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)’. B2 corresponds to independent learners of the language. It is advised, therefore, that centres prepare candidates to produce and recognise grammatical structures and vocabulary found up to and including this CEFR level.
