I also teach single award sciences at my school, what are the main differences in content?

It is important that you read the whole syllabus for each course before planning your teaching programme. However, there are ‘Comparison Guides’ on the School Support Hub here (for 0654) which will provide a detailed comparison point of the common content across the syllabuses and areas of distinct content and skills.

The 0973 Co-ordinated Sciences is a double award course, so the amount of content is comparable to that of two IGCSEs. The course covers the majority of the content in the separate science syllabuses and equips students with the skills for progression to further study in sciences and for employment in the science sector.
