What are the supervisor’s results? And what if the supervisor does not have time to obtain the results during the exam?

During the exam, out of sight of the candidates the supervisor will perform the experiments and record the results as instructed on the supervisor’s report. The supervisor does not do any follow up calculations, graphs, or questions.

If the supervisor is unable to undertake the experiments during the exam, these experiments must be conducted immediately after the exam using the same equipment, materials, and batch of chemicals as the candidates. The supervisor will not be able to carry out the experiments before the exam since the packet of question papers are only allowed to be opened within the room at the start of the exam.
