Which year's syllabus should we use?

The syllabus year refers to the year in which a student is taking their exams.

For example, if a student is taking their Cambridge International AS Level exams in the June 2019 series they should follow the 2019 syllabus. If they are then taking their A Level exams in the June 2020 series, they should then follow the 2020 syllabus.
