Is there an error in Songs of Ourselves?

We are aware that some texts as published in Songs of Ourselves are published differently in different collections and anthologies and so follow a standard procedure to ensure fairness to all learners.

As we have specified in the syllabus that Songs of Ourselves is the prescribed text for examination, if the poem is selected for examination, the poems will appear in assessment materials in the form in which it does in this anthology.

However, we will also make sure that all examiners are made aware of the differences between versions. This ensures that candidates will be rewarded fully for any response, regardless of which version of the text they study.
