Is it possible for a student to write both assignments on poetry?

For syllabus years 2026 and 2027, texts for both assignments may be from the same literary form: drama, prose, or poetry.

For syllabus years 2028 - 2030, candidates submit a portfolio of two essays. Both coursework essays must involve comparison rather than single-text analysis.

1.  Comparing texts – One text must be drama. The second text may be prose or drama.
2.  Comparing poems – Candidates submit an essay based on the comparison of two poems.
