Component 3 (Theatre Making & Performing) - Can the texts be edited for the individual performance?

The text should be essentially a continuous whole, not parts assembled from a longer text. Some limited editing of the text is permissible to fit the time limits of the presentation, but they should use their judgment in doing so to ensure that the integrity of the original text and of its meaning should both be maintained and should not be edited to make it suitable to the chosen theme. If taking out a middle section changes the structure and meaning of the extract, it should not be done.
