The wording of the four assessment objectives (AOs) has been updated but they still test the same knowledge and skills as in the previous syllabus.
The AO weightings across the two components have also changed with an increase in AO2 Application and a decrease in the other AOs.
Paper 1
Each question now has four parts instead of five. The breakdown of marks has changed for part (d) questions.
Paper 2
All part (a) questions are now applied questions.
The wording of the levels for the part (b) questions on Paper 2 mark scheme has changed. Overall, the marking criteria remains largely the same.
