Can we mount an exhibition of students’ work/enter the work for a competition/upload work to social media?

Yes, however we advise that the physical work is kept secure so that no elements of the work are lost or damaged until the digital files have been submitted for assessment. Please refer to the Cambridge handbook Cambridge Handbook 2025 for more information (Section 3.2.11)

For Component 2: Externally Set Assignment, it is important that the examination conditions of the timed test are maintained: that students’ supporting studies are not worked on or altered once the test has started, and that the final outcome is only worked on during the test window under exam conditions. For this reason, we advise that if centres wish to exhibit/display/enter into a competition Component 2 work, they wait until after results are released.

We would also advise centres retain any physical work until results are released, in case there is an issue with the digital files, and they need to be re-uploaded.
