The confidential instructions detail how to prepare for and administer the practical exam. It also provides a list of the chemicals and materials required for each specific practical exam. They are confidential and intended for the member of staff in charge of the laboratory (the supervisor) to carry out preparations before the exam. The supervisor must open and read the instructions as soon as possible. The instructions must be always stored securely. Under no circumstances must any information in the instructions be given to candidates or any other centre. The supervisor must complete the report at the end of the confidential instructions and return it with the scripts after the exam.
