There are no rules prohibiting the use of bullet points in extended answers and in some cases, they may help candidates to organise their answers in a logical manner. However, a common issue with bullet pointed answers is that they can lack sufficient detail to meet the requirements of each marking point. There is a risk that bullet points just become a list of key words with no details or explanations. So, while candidates can write their responses in bullet points for this syllabus, they must ensure that the answer is just as detailed as if they had written in regular prose.
