Do candidates have to be accompanied or supervised for breaks during the test?

No, but the work must remain secure, and candidates should not take any work out with them or bring any work back into the test room. Although Art and Design examinations are taken under examination conditions and standard invigilation requirements apply, candidates do not need to be accompanied on rest breaks, please refer to the Cambridge Handbook here for more information.

However, the room where the work is should be made secure during extended breaks or overnight.
