Have there been many changes to the new Combined Science 0653 syllabus for 2025 to 2027?

IGCSE Combined Science 0653 syllabus has been redeveloped for assessment in 2025-27. It is therefore important that you read the whole syllabus before planning your course. Page 86-87 of this syllabus gives an overview of the main changes.

There is also a ‘Transition Guide’ on the School Support hub to support teachers in their planning and shows how learning objectives, notes and examples compare between the content taught for assessment in 2023-24 against the content required for the new 2025-27 syllabus.
