What is a scaled mark?

The practical test is marked /150 but needs to be scaled to /100.

The centre should mark the practical test using the marking guide found in the Practical Test Handbook.

For each candidate, the centre should fill out the Practical Test Summary Mark Sheet with:

• • marks for each section
  • total mark /150
  • scaled mark /100 (using the conversion table on page 31 of the Practical Test Handbook, available on School Support Hub).
