I am a private candidate is there any alternative option to the practical?

All entry options for AS & A level Sciences include a practical component, there is no alternative to practical skills assessment. It is expected that private candidates learn in an environment where practical work is an integral part of the course. Candidates will not be able to perform well in the practical papers or progress successfully to further study without this necessary and important aspect of science education.
