We are unable to comment on specific project briefs from centres. The project area is decided by the candidate with advice, as appropriate, from you as their teacher. Cambridge does not prescribe or recommend project areas.
We also remind centres the importance of referring to both the syllabus and the coursework marking criteria when selecting a project. Centres should ensure that the chosen project provides sufficient opportunities for candidates to demonstrate the assessment criteria within the marking grid, while also being achievable within the time available for the coursework. This will help avoid projects that are overly ambitious in scale or complexity and may limit candidates' ability to fully realise their ideas and evidence the required skills.
