Cambridge Primary provides a framework for teaching the subjects of English, English as a Second Language, Mathematics, Science, Global Perspectives, Art and Design, Physical Education, Music and Digital Literacy. These are all designed as international programmes that can be used by schools anywhere in the world.
The programme is flexible and schools can choose whether to teach all or some of it. Many schools combine Cambridge with their local programmes and use the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint assessments and Cambridge Primary Progression Tests to support learning and monitoring progress.
