One invigilator must be present for every 30 students. There must always be at least one invigilator who has not been involved in the preparation of any of the students.
In addition, a suitably experienced teacher/technician must be present in each test room to deal with any technical difficulties. The teacher/technician is allowed to have been involved in the preparation of students for the test. The teacher/technician is not counted as an invigilator.
It is up to the centre to appoint suitable personnel, but the availability of a teacher/technician in addition to the invigilator/s encouraged.
Invigilation regulations are detailed in the Cambridge Handbook, available to download from www.cambridgeinternational.org/examsofficersguide
