If awarded extra time, do candidates also get extra time in the Listening exam?

Yes. For listening tests, the extra time must be applied to the pauses already built into the recording. You will need to manually pause the recording. Please contact us for a document which will help you allocate the extra time to the pauses in each exercise.

If you have applied for an access arrangement to allow a candidate to have extra time in their exam, they will also have extra time to transfer their answers. They will get the same percentage of time e.g. if they get 25% extra time for the exam, they also get 25% extra time to transfer their answers from the question paper to the multiple-choice answer sheet.
