Does Cambridge return coursework samples submitted for moderation?

From 2019, you will need to tell us if you would like us to return your moderated and examined work.

You will need to complete the Teacher Assessment – Form 6, which you can download from our website  or the samples database.

You must submit this form with your coursework, in the sample packet, by the deadline published on the samples database.

If you do not want us to return the work, you do not need to do anything.

Please note that this does not include the return of Artwork. For information on the return of artwork please click here.

You should keep copies of all the audio and/or visual recordings that you send to us for moderation as we will not return these to you.

What if I need to request the return of moderated coursework after submitting the sample?

Email your request with the form to info@cambridgeinternational.org by the following deadlines:

  • March 2019 series – 6 June 2019
    • June 2019 series – 20 September 2019
    • November 2019 series – 26 February 2020

We will not be able to process requests for the return of coursework after these deadlines. We may keep some items of coursework for research, exhibition, archive or educational purposes. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to coursework submitted for moderation.

When do you return work?

Work that is not subject to an enquiry about results will be returned between:
June–August (March series)
September–November (June series)
March–May (November series)

What if I request an enquiry about results?

Even if you have completed this form, we will not return work that is subject to an enquiry about results until the end of the enquiries about results appeals period. More information on appeals is available in the ‘Appeals Regulations and Guidance’ section of the Cambridge Handbook.
