Can students carry forward marks from 8695 AS Level towards the 9695 A Level syllabus?

The 8695 syllabus is an AS Level qualification only. Centres cannot carry forward AS Level marks from the 8695 syllabus towards the 9695 syllabus as these are two different syllabuses.

Therefore, in order for a candidate to obtain a full A Level qualification for the 9695 syllabus they need to sit the AS and A2 components of the syllabus.
