Is authentication by a Notary Public necessary?

For the majority of universities and institutions, authentication by a Notary Public is not required. Your school or the establishment you are applying to will tell you if they require this service.

Our Certifying Statements are accepted by the majority of universities and institutions all over the world as proof of your examinations results without the use of authentication.

Authentication enables you to get a UK public document legalised. This means a signature, seal and stamp by a notary public  and an apostile by the Foreign and Commonwealth office on the document if confirmed as genuine by the UK government. You may need to do this if you've been asked to provide a legalised document.

If you request this service, please note that the application may take longer than the normal four week period to process. For further information on our results services, please click on the link here
