What happens if a candidate is not under Full Centre Supervision at the Key Time?

If the Key Time falls before or during the exam and a candidate arrives late, they will be treated as a late arrival and the Examinations Officer will be required to submit a Late Arrival notification to Cambridge.

If the Key Time falls after the exam and the candidate is not under Full Centre Supervision, this is classed as an irregularity and must be reported to Cambridge.

Information regarding late arrivals can be found in Section 5.1.9 of the current Cambridge Handbook found here.

Our interactive tutorial here explains some of the main regulations for timetabling examinations and will assist examinations officers in implementing them in their school.
